Women's and Men's Fellowship
Service, service, service. No matter how you say it, our Men's and Women's fellowships are strong on service. Our Women's Fellowship sponsors many benevolent drives, hosts funeral meals, and guides their circles. The Men's Fellowship has monthly breakfasts, helps with banquets, participates in various sporting events and sponsors many church activities.
It has been noted that our kitchen is one of the happiest rooms in the church. And it is! Our banquet service serves many community and church meals throughout the year. And they do it with great joy.
Our twelve usher crews (one for each month) provide a warm welcome to the family of St. John's. Their dedication adds immensely to the dignity and joy of St. John's. Everyone can be assured of a "personal touch."
Each Sunday from 10:00-10:30 am, our fellowship time gives people the opportunity to chat with old friends and meet new ones. Families reunite after Sunday School and prepare for worship. Our newly renovated Fellowship Center is the perfect place to meet.
Our Youth Fellowship has taken off in astonishing ways. Building strong friendships, our program has involved our youth in work camps in Kentucky, national youth events, and General Synod meetings. In addition, the group has met almost weekly in our Youth Lounge to grow as Christians and care about others.
We have been a strong supporter of scouting for many decades. Our Troop 86 is active in all phases of scouting, including camping, citizenship and leadership training.
Head, heart, hand, health. Our 4-H chapter guides young people in character development and individual and group growth. Their annual display at the county fair is always a joy to view.
