Dear St. John’s Members,
On behalf of everyone at Personal and Family Counseling Services, I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for your $500 donation. We are very grateful for your support of our work in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties.
Your generosity enables us to provide services to those who need it most.
Sincerely, Cindy Naegele
Vice Pres. of Advancement and Communications
Dear Pastor Dotty and St. John’s Church.
Thank you for the gift you sent for the work of Samaritan’s Purse. Your partnership not only helps us meet the physical needs of hurting people, but also to reach the lost with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
This is an exciting and busy time of the year as we collect and prepare to ship and distribute millions of gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. Each box is an opportunity to share God’s love and touch a child’s life, and our goal is to collect 11 million shoeboxes this year. We would appreciate your prayers for our staff and the thousands of volunteers who are working to make this happen.
May God richly bless you.
Sincerely, Franklin Graham
There are so many people to thank for a truly beautiful holiday. Thanks to all who supported the youth in their many endeavors prior to Christmas. Thanks to the children who shared with us a different way to enjoy the Christmas story. Thanks to the crew who set up and took down the stage. Thanks to all who donated hats and mittens and scarves and socks and underwear for the Warm and Fuzzy Tree. Know that someone is a bit warmer for your thoughtfulness.
I would like to say a special thanks to Dan Hurst and all who helped in setting up sound and lights for the Live Nativity, to all who provided the snacks for the youth during the Live Nativity, to the scouts of the church for setting up and taking down the manger scene, to Charles Lebold for the hay, to Jen, Glen and John Feutz for delivering the pieces and parts that make up the Nativity scene. These folks most of us don’t see as we watch the story come to life, but they are the ones who make the story happen. Thanks to the ladies of the Board of Christian Education for all their help with everything. And on a personal note, thanks to all the congregation members for your gifts of love and support. It has been an exciting year here. Your kindness and generosity and love remind me of how blessed I am.
To the members of St Johns,
I appreciated your kindnesses shown during my hip surgery and recuperation. The prayers, phone calls, cards and Pastor Dotty’s visit were so wonderful. Blessings to you all.
